Bravery.

After a two year battle on a herculean scale with Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma our hearts were broken with the tragic loss of our dearly loved Mum, Nanny, sister, Aunty partner and friend Elaine Perry on Thursday 26th January 2017.

Mum showed complete and undiluted bravery during not only her battle with this disease but throughout her life. Even when fate dealt Mum an unforgiving hand she stuck out her chin and stared the beast straight in the eye. There is no question that Mum felt fear (who wouldn't have been afraid, right?) but she didn't simply cave in and give up. Mum met her end but only on her terms; when things felt right and only then did Mum withdraw from the battle, that she let go of the fight and of the pain.

Mum was in her home and surrounded by love when she decided that 'this is enough'. Mum met her end head-on and eye-to-eye with her sons holding her hands and her loved ones by her side.

We love you forever Mum. Be at peace xXx
